‘…Are in a Bar…’ is a new cabaret-style concert series where musicians interpret the songs of iconic artists

—this time, Tom Waits, Rickie Lee Jones , Aimee Mann and some Johns—woven together by a barman and barfly whose banter is built from lyrics, quotes, and sharp observations.— with a little mystery along the way. Featuring CarmelC, AdamH, SimonG, DougB, and MikeK with TomT and Ben B propping up the  bar, the show's emphasis is top shelf music supported by philosophical bar chats and a quirky quiz that audiences are invited to participate in. Debuting at the Lyttelton Arts Festival
